Programme rationale

The new Prevent Duty on schools 2015 and Ofsted requirements 2015 have created a situation

where schools will be judged around combating extremism and radicalisation. Through this session staff/governors will be able to prepare for the Prevent Duty and Ofsted whilst at the same time beginning to critically analyse how inclusive the school is.

Benefits

Through discussion, debate, and sharing of good practice from this session will

prepare you on cultural competence and can support any development or self-evaluation plans.

Culturally competent and emotional friendly institutions are also more likely to have higher whole

school attendance and attainment level
